Alpha Kappa Psi is a Professional Co-ed Business Fraternity founded in 1904 with the purpose of developing its members into principled business leaders. With over 240,000 initiated members across 265 universities worldwide, Alpha Kappa Psi is the oldest and largest business fraternity with an extensive network of alumni. The Alpha Chi Chapter continues the practices of the brotherhood and has grown to over 300+ members from when it was rechartered back in 2006.

Professional Development

The Alpha Chi chapter strongly focuses on professional development and strives for greatness in any way, shape or form. During the pledging process, members will receive help from the brotherhood in forms of mock interviews, resume critiques, presentation skills, and career workshops. With the goal of maximising growth as much as possible, the brotherhood makes sure the pledges are continously learning and making improvements to fully succeed in the real world.

Brotherhood

As soon as members enter the pledging process, the Alpha Chi chapter welcomes them into the brotherhood. It starts off during the pledging process when pledges select a group of individuals which becomes their family. This family is an even tighter-knit group inside of AKPsi to foster individual relationships. With the help of service events, social events, and relatability of the pledge process, brothers are united and enjoy all of the fun moments of college together.

Mentors

The Alpha Chi chapter emphasizes growth throughout the pledging process and during their time in the brotherhood. During pledging, pledges are given a big who will be their mentor for the rest of college and someone they can go to for personal, work, or any other advice. In addition, once enacted into the brotherhood, anyone who has even been in the Alpha Chi chapter is willing to help in any way possible. Former Alumni come back to be mentors for the underclassman and guide them through the job search. With the help of AKPsi, you can have mentors who will help you reach your goals professionally while also helping you with personal situations throughout college!
